Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actor, comedian and activist After emigrating to America she was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her first professional work was as an actress in her early years as a child. The appearances she made as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials between 2013 and 2016 - and then in 2020 - have has made her famous. The commercials she appeared in were not her only activity she appeared in. She also appeared on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also had an actor in the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub was also cast as Squirrelgirl in Marvel Rising in 2018 following her role in the pilot television series New Warriors. Vayntrub is an Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native, and also a Jew. When she was just two, she immigrated together with her parents to the U.S. to escape antisemitism. She was able to settle in West Hollywood. Her family's financial troubles resulted in her appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of 5. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. But, she was kicked out of her sophomore year and earned an GED. Following that she was able to receive an Associate of Arts degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. She was introduced to improv comedy through the Upright Citizens Brigade.
